There were many people erased by Davi’s fans during the last “Big Brother Brazil”. With practically blind trust, his followers deified every decision made by the Bahian in the reality show. Three months after the end of the program, many are starting to see that their idol is too human and prone to mistakes, many of them primary. There has never been a champion as clumsy as Davi in the history of the “BBB”.
Fresh out of the most watched house in the country, Davi frustrated his fans’ expectations by partying instead of studying for the medical school entrance exam, something he talked about a lot on the Globo show. In fact, the broadcaster was not at all happy to see him announce in an interview that he was developing a program on the channel, something that never happened. When questioned, he said that the Internet is made of “speculation.” In fact, even at Globo – every winner of “BBB” has a one-year contract -, Davi insisted on proposing himself for “A Fazenda”, on Record.
The height of the antics, however, was taking care of study needs and posing without books, only with blank notebooks pretending to study. And this Tuesday, the day his “girlfriend” was to arrive in Salvador from Manaus, he posted a story of a photo of a thermometer taken from Google with gospel music in the background. Asking for prayers, David said he had a fever. He didn’t care if netizens found out, much less if the date revealed that she was halfway, in Brasilia, when he asked her to come back. Horrible.
It is not difficult to diagnose why Davi has done little advertising or continues to lose followers due to easily avoidable confusion. In an effort to save money, he has not hired a business man or specialized assistance. He has left everything in the hands of his family, who yes, love him very much, but have no experience in the industry. Everything he does ends up looking extremely amateur. The damage is great. Not even Kleber Bambam, in the midst of his mistakes, has made as many mistakes as Davi Brito.
