Miss São Paulo 2024 breaks barriers and redefines standards of age, maternity and relationship status, reflecting a global shift in Miss Universe

In total, there are 32 candidates vying for the Miss São Paulo crown. The winner will have to receive the honor from Vitória Brodt, the 2023 candidate.

This year’s Miss São Paulo pageant has among its 32 participants, 9 mothers of which 11 marriedrepresenting 28% and 34% of the group respectively. In addition, half of the competitors, that is 16 years old, are over 28 years old, an age limit until December 2023, abolished since January this year, allowing women over 18 to register, without age limits.
