Danilo explained better the operation performed on his son: “José underwent emergency surgery, [por causa] due to a very strong inflammation of the intestinal loops he also had to reposition them. The appendix was also strangulated due to a hernia and the kidney took a long time to function”, he explained.
“We count on your prayers. We are sure that we will leave here with José in our arms and glorifying God,” he concluded. José is the result of an extremely premature birth in April, with his twin brother Antonio, who died on May 12.
The son of the journalist and current mayor of Cajamar remained hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit after his birth. Nadja explained José’s condition after the surgery: “He was intubated again, he is sedated, but little by little the drugs are being removed.”
“Instead of that crying face, there will be a smiling face, laughter in abundance, as if we have lived and will live again. We can only be grateful because José is responding very well,” Nadja said. She added that the sedation will be removed on Thursday, August 1.
