Ingrid Coronado was again honest about the emotions that invade her and her children, Luciano and Paolo, after the unexpected death of Fernando del Solar, which occurred 11 days ago.
On July 7, the Mexican presenter revealed for the first time how her children were coping with their father’s death from pneumonia.
“I can see that deep pain in their eyes, but I can also see how they’re not going to let themselves be defeated,” is part of what Coronado shared that day during the broadcast of his radio program “Conectadas ».
Fernando del Solar’s children are upset by his death
A few days ago, on July 8, during another broadcast of her show, Ingrid Coronado returned to the topic of mourning the death of Fernando del Solar and admitted that she did not know what to do.
“Because in the end, although one believes that life is like this, that people pass through this world and that it is temporary, one does not know what to do when faced with these kinds of situations,” said the ex-wife of the presenter.
“(What) I want is to accompany my children, but I’m also experiencing a personal process and this was like a surprise to me,” he said later.
Similarly, the guide revealed that both she and Luciano and Paolo, 13 and 10, respectively, are experiencing anger as part of their mourning for Del Solar.
“You would think that when there’s a loss of this magnitude, it goes straight to grief, but I’ve seen it with myself and with my kids, and first there’s a lot of anger. You might even feel a little guilty for getting angry at a person who isn’t even here anymore,” he said.
“All of a sudden my kids have these angry outbursts and I know my job is to walk them through these processes and not try to change them, not try to hurt them, not try not to get angry,” she added.
This is how Ingrid Coronado supports her children
Ingrid Coronado, who was in a relationship with Fernando del Solar for seven years, also shared on this occasion how she supports her children through their grief.
“And what I’ve told my kids is, ‘OK, right now you want to be alone, that’s fine, but if you need me, I’m in my room and I’m here for you,'” she said.
The presenter said that she wants to make sure that Luciano and Paolo know that she is there to take care of them and give them as much support as possible.
“I feel like they don’t want to hurt me through their pain and they need to know that I’m here to ‘grab the balls,'” he explained.
Coronado explained that on the advice of his coroner his children went to the funeral home to see their father’s casket and that “twenty would drop” that “their father is indeed dead.”
