A director says Jamie Foxx blamed his hospitalization on P. Diddy while filming a Netflix special.
With more than 120 reports of sexual abuse behind him, P. Diddy is now associated with a new controversy: Was the rapper involved in the mysterious hospitalization of actor and comedian Jamie Foxx last year? After a medical emergency on the film set, he spent four months in hospital; 20 days of them in an unconscious state. To date, an accurate diagnosis has never been revealed.
During the taping of the Netflix special “What Had Happened Was,” Jamie allegedly blamed Diddy for the hospitalization. Director Choke No Joke, who participated in the filming for two days, says this in an interview with the Comedy Hype channel. “Diddy was responsible for what happened to him and [Foxx] that’s what the FBI called [o rapper]”, he guarantees.
The director points out the coincidence that Jamie returned to work only afterwards the arrest of Diddy, accused of rape and sex trafficking. The actor would be afraid of a new attack. “He’s gone, right? He’s gone now, as soon as Puff goes to prison, right? As soon as Puff goes to prison, he goes to film his special. And who is the special heavily based on? Diddy” , he reflects.
But wouldn’t it have been a joke from the comedian? Smother doubts. “I don’t think he was joking. You can tell if he was joking or not when you watch the show, because for me… I’m a new comedian, right? I know when someone is joking and I know when you’re serious,” he argued.
