Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs got the key to the city of Miami Beach A few days ago, he was honored in 2015. This decision was made by local authorities following his recent arrest and serious charges against him for alleged crimes of sex trafficking and organized crime.
According to TMZ, Mayor Steven Miner and the city commission ” they voted unanimously the decision at an in-person hearing on Wednesday, October 30.
Although the proposal was accepted, the mayor “has not yet officially signed the resolution.”
Key to the City is a symbolic recognition given to people who have made significant contributions to the community. In this case, “Diddy” Combs was awarded “for his contributions to the music industry and his role in organizing the Revolt Music Conference in Miami Beach,” TMZ reported.
It was in June 2015 when the city was abolished on October 13 as “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Day”.
“Diddy” Combs had already lost another key
TMZ reported last June that Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, revoked this honorary recognition by sending him a letter, due to the serious allegations against him.
