William Bonner riots by yelling during live appearance on JN: ‘Preaching back there’


Jornal Nacional presenter William Bonner gets angry and tells how he feels when he connects live directly from the United States




William Bonner he did not hide his disappointment live during the National newspaper this Monday (4) directly from Washington, in the United States, near the White House. The reason? He just got annoyed by people singing in the background as he prepared to make his connection to the news.

In a conversation with Globo viewers, the presenter apologized for the screams that were heard at the scene. Without patience, he highlighted next to him a “sermon and a girl who sings very badly”.

“Well, until recently we had a man giving a sermon there near the White House, and at the same time there was a girl who sang very badly, I must say, she sang too, and it was a really bad situation,” began William Bonner.

And he added: “Now someone else has come and sings, a little better, but the noise has increased. So I apologize for the background noise,” said her husband Natasha Dantasbefore calling the reporter Carolina Cimenti.

William Bonner paid tribute to Renata Vasconcellos

Moments before complaining about the background noise, Bonner surprised Renata Vasconcellos with a live statement. “I must tell Brazil that Renata Vasconcellos today joins a very exclusive team of journalism professionals who have the honor of counting on the trust of Brazilians for a longer period than ten years as head of the Jornal Nacional”, he said.

“Renata turns ten years as JN today, congratulations and thank you for your cooperation”, concluded the presenter. In response, Renata limited herself to thanking her colleague: “It’s an honor”the anchor said during the live news.

William Bonner on the death of Cid Moreira

Still current of National newspaper on Globo, William Bonner vented about the death of Cid Moreira (1927-2024). The journalist died at the age of 97 from complications of pneumonia and his friendship with the presenter was remembered in Encounter live.

“For those over 40, the Jornal Nacional had that face there. For those under 40, perhaps the face of the Jornal Nacional is not that of Cid Moreira. But he is the face and voice of Fantastic […]”began the ex-husband of Fatima Bernardes.
