Ayrton Senna’s relationship with Xuxa was ‘marketing’, says the driver’s friend: ‘He was much more in love with Galisteu’

In an interview with journalist Lisa Gomes, journalist Luiz Andreoli, a personal friend of the pilot, expressed a controversial opinion on his relationship with Xuxa. “It was more of a marketing thing, it went both ways, he was also a very marketing savvy guy and so was she. He was much more passionate than Adriane [Galisteu]she was much more important to him at the end of his life, everyone said he was much lighter. Luiz also recalled the rumors that Senna’s family was investigating Galisteu, who appears in just two minutes of the documentary series. On the eve of the pilot’s death, his brother, Leonardo Senna, filmed a conversation between the then model and her ex-boyfriend.
