Singer Daddy Yankee has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife Mireddys González in the San Juan Court of First Instance over alleged unauthorized transfers from company accounts amounting to $100 million.
The defense of Raymond Ayala Rodríguez, the real name of the reggaeton player, lawyer Carlos Díaz Olivo, confirmed that several requests for a ban were filed against González and his sister Ayeicha.
This comes two weeks after the writer of global hits such as ‘Gasolina’ confirmed his separation after almost three decades of marriage and two children together.
The lawyer explained that the singer’s wife and sister-in-law made transfers totaling $100 million from the corporate bank accounts of El Cartel Records and Los Cangris to be deposited into each party’s personal accounts without their knowledge or authorization. of Daddy Yankee.
“I add that for about a year and a half, in good faith, Mr. Ayala has been asking the González women for access to their companies and their financial situation. However, his request has been ignored,” he said.
He added that “the little information provided was limited, preventing Mr. Ayala to have knowledge and transparency about the corporate management, its finances and the commitments made in his name and with his brands.”
“Due to his previous actions, the careless administrative and financial management of the entities and, in particular, the withdrawals of large unauthorized sums of money, affecting the stability of the entities and the rights of Mr. Ayala, it had to stop. in court to seek protection,” he said.
Díaz Olivo described this whole situation as “sad”, which led them to resort to the courts to “justify the rights of Mr. Ayala against the people he trusted.”
