Caetano Veloso used his social networks this Friday (27) to send a message to Preta Gil. He recorded a video before the singer underwent surgery on December 19 and decided to post it. In the album the artist demonstrates all his affection for Black.

“Pretinha, I’m here thinking about you every day, every time. I want to tell you that Paulinha and I are here believing in that thing you told me there at Dedé’s house that day about your decision to follow you”, he began. “I want to follow you because you knew that you are my favorite niece, the most beautiful there is. I adore you and I desire you, so much.”

In the caption he also wrote: “I decided to ask to publish this video that I sent to my beloved niece Preta Gil. She and I are Leos and we know how much better it is to show our emotions rather than keep them inside.”

What is Preta Gil’s state of health?

The singer had to undergo another surgery to remove tumors from her intestines. On the afternoon of this Thursday (26th), the third medical bulletin from the Sírio-Libanês Hospital in São Paulo was released. After undergoing extensive surgery to remove new tumors, the artist has shown signs of improvement and now eats orally.
