‘Tiktoker’ dies at the age of 19 for a dangerous viral challenge: his mother has a tragedy for warning

Renna O’Rourke died at the age of 19 in Arizona, having made a dangerous viral challenge of social networks known as “dusting”.

His family invites other parents after his daughter’s tragic death.

Renna O’Rourke died of inhalation of a dangerous product

Renna O’Rourke, from Tempe, died on June 1 due to the death syndrome of sudden inhalation (Sniffing Syndrome) after inhalation of a computer cleaning spray, a voltage that has become viral in Tiktok in “drug use”, NBC reports.

According to his mother, Dana O’Rourke, Renna suffered a heart attack and spent several days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) before being declared with the death of the brain.

“Dusting”, also known as “coloring” or “huffing”, is a practice that makes the user feel “drunk” and euphoric for a few minutes.

Dr. Randy Weisman, who directs the Intensive Care Unit to the Honohealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center, warns that in this short period, liver and lung damage, even after a single inhalation, may be irreversible and possibly fatal.

Weisman explained in an interview with the Arizona family that when these gas chemicals are inhaled, they replace oxygen in the lungs and the rest of the body. In addition, he said that several other teenagers have succumbed to the same disorder.

Renna’s parents don’t want other parents to suffer the same pain

Renna’s parents, Aaron and Dana O’Rourke, described her as a young “living and living” who loved the song. Her mother remembered her as “the most affectionate and beautiful soul I met”.

The family seeks to raise awareness of this tendency to prevent other parents from experiencing the same pain.

Dana O’Rourke has expressed concern about the ease with which teenagers can access this deadly product. She revealed that Renna and her boyfriend bought the online keyboard cleaner and received it at home via Dordash. “I didn’t know what they were doing with it,” Dana O’Rourke said.

Despite the tragedy, the O’Rourke family found comfort and purpose in Renna’s decision to donate her organs.

“We want to make sure we use our tragedy so that no other father must experiment to see his son with life and fan and without breathing for himself, all because he inhales a box,” said Dana O’Rourke.

They have been informed that Renna’s heart went to a receiver in California, which is important to the family, since it was the state it wanted to move.
