Influencer and dancer share results, body changes and new habits after the procedure
Six months after having bariatric surgery, Thais Carla has decided to reveal details about his transformation. The 33-year-old influencer published this Friday, the 24th, the bioimpedance test which shows that he has already lost 72 kg, compared to the 200 kg he weighed before the operation.
Currently, the Thai weighs 128.4 kg and has 50.7% lean body mass. Her body mass index (BMI) is 44.4, a result she shared with her followers to show the evolution of her health and body.
In addition to the numbers, the influencer celebrated on social media an aesthetic change that he had long desired: the emergence of the so-called “soap dish”, a natural depression located just below the neck, between the collarbones, which tends to stand out in thin people.
“I’m going to show you something that I think is funny and that everyone’s talking about. Soap dish, look at this. My God,” he said excited about the news and saying he plans to lose another 40kg until he reaches his ultimate goal.
Thais also shared details about how the weight loss has affected his daily life. She had to downsize her clothes, going from a size 66 to a size 54, and returned to ballet lessons, which she abandoned 13 years ago. Starting to dance again is part of a broader process of reconnecting with your body and improving your quality of life.
The procedure Thais chose was gastric bypass, a surgery that reduces the size of the stomach and bypasses part of the intestine, reducing the absorption of food. Before the operation, the influencer weighed 200kg and had to slim down to 170kg to qualify for the procedure, demonstrating the dedication and discipline they put into her journey.
In addition to the physical changes, Thais have also invested in healthier habits, such as a balanced diet and nutritional and psychological support, to ensure the results of the surgery are long-lasting. She has used her social media to inspire followers facing similar challenges, proving that transformation is possible, but requires patience, focus and professional support.
The influencer, known for her energy and charisma, emphasizes that surgery is only part of the journey: “The most important thing is to learn to take care of your body and mind”he stated. Thais’ story has become an example of how the combination of determination, medical guidance and self-love can bring significant results in both health and self-esteem.
