The influencer Vittorio Fernando and the actor Gabriele Fuentes were chased and shot last Friday, the 24th, as they were returning to their car from Rio de Janeiro TO Saint Paul. The information was released by the couple’s advisors in a joint publication on Instagram and confirmed by Estadao.
Second Public Security Secretariat of São Paulo (SSP-SP), the two were victims of an attempted murder in the early hours of last Friday. According to the police report, they had stopped to have a snack at a gas station in Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, when an unidentified man approached and fired several shots at the vehicle they were in.
Moments later, as they tried to flee, the attacker reappeared in a nearby street and fired again. One of the two was hit by a bullet and the other had a wound on his leg. In a statement the team states that the two suffered an attempted robbery.
Also according to the SSP, Vittor and Gabriel managed to escape through Dutra Street, even with the damaged car, and asked for help at a station. They were taken to the municipal emergency room and treated. The case was registered as attempted murder at the Queluz police station, which requested an expert opinion.
According to the press office, both are fine. “Vittor and Gabriel were shot, received immediate medical attention and are out of danger, recovering and under medical supervision,” the statement read. “We are grateful for the messages of affection and ask for understanding and respect in this delicate moment. As soon as possible they will speak themselves.”
