American rapper Coolio, the performer of the immortal hit “Gangsta’s Paradise”, has died at the age of 60 in Los Angeles, California — This was reported by the tabloid TMZ, citing the musician’s manager. It is assumed that the cause of death of the artist was cardiac arrest. Coolio was visiting friends and decided to take a bath — when he did not return to the table, his friends sounded the alarm.

Recall that Coolio — Real name Artis Leon Ivey Jr. — He became world famous in 1995 when he released the song “Gangsta’s Paradise” as the soundtrack to the movie Dangerous Minds. In 1996, for this composition, the musician was awarded the Grammy Award.
Note that the rapper died just a few days after the last time he got in touch with subscribers and reported on a concert in Texas. Coolio is survived by six children with his ex-wife Josepha Salinas, whom he divorced in 2000.
