The actor has gotten to work on his muscles for his upcoming film ‘The iron claw’.
Fresh from the promo tour for his latest film ‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever’ –aka ‘Yo me in charge of beer’ in Spain–, Zac Efron is already busy preparing his next project: ‘The iron claw’, a saga which follows the real-life Van Erichs, a family that helped shape the sport of professional wrestling during the latter half of the 20th century. And of course, imagine Efron’s muscles to play a wrestler… We have the first sample, and without a shirt.
Alongside Jeremy Allen White (‘The Bear’) and Lily James (‘Pam & Tommy’), Efron will play world heavyweight champion Kevin Von Erich, a role that will require him to gain a lot of weight. And it seems that he is getting it with flying colors. In a post workout photo recently posted on Twitter For Complex, Efron sports an incredible shape, with very strong arms and a really defined chest, in addition to the abs that he maintains as a fundamental pillar of his body structure.
The last time Efron underwent such a dramatic muscle transformation it was for her role in the 2017 comedy Baywatch, a process she has openly described as, well, not very ideal. “I started developing insomnia, and I fell into a pretty bad depression, for a long time,” he told Men’s Health a couple of months ago for the October cover interview – where in addition to doing a kettlebell workout, among other topics he talks about his supposed aesthetic retouching, his refusal to have a partner to focus on himself or why he suffers from agoraphobia–. “Some of that experience burned me. It took me a long time to get back on track.” “That aspect of Baywatch, I don’t know if it’s really achievable,” he acknowledged. “There’s very little water on the skin. It’s fake, it looks like an animated movie… And that required Lasix, powerful diuretics, to get it. So I don’t need to do that. I’d rather have an extra, you know, 2 or 3 percent more body fat.”.
But here we have it again. Judge for yourselves, we will be attentive to how your training is going.
