Singer is accused of evading $14 million in taxes, but denies tax crimes
Shakira, 45, accuses the Spanish prosecutor of harassment and defamation for having accused her of having evaded 14 million dollars in taxes (about 75.7 million dollars at current exchange rates). The information comes from the website daily emailπ§π·

Again according to the newspaper, the Spanish prosecution has no concrete evidence to support the allegations against the artist.
“She was viciously persecuted in the criminal and media spheres she used unacceptable methods damage its reputation, as well as forcing it to reach an agreement,β he adds.
Shakira’s team still claims to have paid more than 90 million euros (about R$ 507 million at current exchange rates) in international revenue and assets “that were not generated in Spain”. The note also says the singer does not have a company in the country to raise significant amounts.
Shakira’s legal team filed the defense and plea on Friday the 25th with the court of Barcelona, ββSpain, which is investigating the artist.
