Cause of death revealed for Tyler Sanders, found dead at his home on June 16 at the age of 18. According to the Legal Medical Institute of Los Angeles, the young actor from “A Pinch of Magic: Mysterious City” died from the effects of the drug fentanyl.
Fentanyl is an opioid drug with analgesic effect, used to relieve chronic or sudden pain, as well as serve as a complement to general or local anesthesia.
Previously, suspicions were raised that the cause of death was an overdose. The site TMZ discovered with sources of the investigation that a plastic straw and white powder were at the site where he was found dead.
Due to the conclusion of accidental death, Sanders’ case was considered closed.
Tyler Sanders was considered a talented child actor, having been acting since he was ten, and last year he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy, an award focused on daytime and children’s attractions in the United States, for Best Actor for his role of Leo in the video of the Amazon Prime series.
He first experienced the character in 2019, in an episode of the original series “A pinch of magic”, on Amazon. The appearance served to launch a spin-off focusing on half-siblings Leo (Sanders) and Zoe (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport) and their neighbor Ish (Jenna Qureshi) in 2020. In the “Mysterious City” storyline, Sanders’ character become the new protector of a magical cookbook.
Previously, he was in episodes of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ (in 2017) and drama ‘The Rookie’ (in 2018).
His last television appearance was in an episode of ‘911: Lone Star’ which aired in the US in April. The actor wrapped up his performance in the thriller ‘The Price We Pay,’ which is set to be released early next year.
