Roberta Carbonari’s reflection serves as a warning to those who share posts without verifying them and to those most sensitive to the toxicity of the web
A new chapter opens in the controversy involving the doctor, bodybuilder and influencer Paulo Muzy and his wife, Roberta Carbonari Muzy.
The nutritionist and influencer comes out days after the wave of attacks against her husband. Malicious posts would suggest that she cheated on him with a young man seen in a photo of her on her social networks.
A reference in emotional intelligence and charisma, Muzy reacted furiously to the provocation. The lack of control in her responses surprised her followers and reverberated in the press.
In the Instagram Stories, Roberta said she had decided to expose herself to defend the people she loves involved in the confusion. “I don’t need to justify myself for any action. I’m not ashamed of anything I’ve done.”
Explained the malicious action of the anonymous web. “A group of guys decided to access a photo of me posted in February, where I’m with Rubão, a wonderful guy I met 8 years ago at a community NGO. I was deeply touched by his life story, his nature, character, commitment and determination ”.
“Since I met Rubão, Paulo and I decided he would join our family. We would have taken care of him like a son, giving him all the opportunities we give to our daughters… I love this boy like a son, from the bottom of my heart,” he said.
Subsequently, Roberta detailed the controversy which went viral on some social networks and attracted media attention.
“These guys took this picture where I say that I love Rubão and that we would be together for the rest of our lives… and they started insinuating that Rubão was going to stay with me and Paulo, so he was a sucker. “
“At this level it is the sick mind of people on the internet. In this way, people put news on the Internet… They started to offend Paulo for this, sending absurd hate messages”.
Roberta Carbonari Muzy reveals the emotional impact of the slander on her son. “Rubão was crying on the other side of the line fearing that I would move away from him, that Paulo would move away from him because of this nonsense.”
The nutritionist, who produces relevant content on healthy living, has launched an appeal against the hateful practice of creating and spreading lies online.
“It is my duty to say publicly that I will never walk away from my adopted son because of the internet. I ask you mothers to look at how your children use the Internet, because most of the messages are from children, teenagers. Young people use mobile phones to spread this type of message and to attack my son with racist and criminal attacks.”
In the same sequence of Stories, Paulo Muzy’s wife and muse reflected on how virtual experience can be a danger to mental health.
“The Internet is a place that I have always considered quite dangerous. Anyone can access it and anything can be said there. And the big damage is that without verifying the truthfulness of the information, people start to take that sentence or that piece of news as a great truth, and from there come the biggest insults and the biggest absurdities,” he said.
“People understand as they want, twist as they can. And it multiplies devastatingly. People have died from things like this happening on the internet, people have committed suicide.”
Finally, the nutritionist reassured her followers. “I’m fine, it’s fine… I advise you not to feed on this kind of stuff on the internet. There are so many beautiful things to see, which build, which improve us”.
Roberta Carbonari Muzy warned that she has already called her lawyer against the users who attacked her, her husband and her son. The couple is currently on vacation abroad.
