The actor has decided not to participate in the reunion tour of the Mexican group
Alfonso Herrera has finally revealed the reason for his absence from RBD’s return. The actor spoke on his Twitter and finally stated that he will not participate in the new wave of performances of the iconic group.
“I generally never pay attention to content promoting such nasty stuff. But it seems important to me to expose some things that come from me and not from an invention. Denying my past implies denying my present, money isn’t everything and it usually doesn’t motivate my decisions“, wrote the artist, also known by his nickname Poncho.
“I am grateful for what I had, for what I have and for what is to come. I will always wish the best for any project that comes from Rebelde. In the same way that my colleagues have supported me in absolutely everything, which I am deeply thankful for”, published then.
Finally, Alfonso Herrera thanked the fans “eternally” and emphasized that being “rebel” means chasing your dreams and what you want in life. “Something I try every day”, ended, with a GIF of former US President Obama with the expression “turn the mic down”.
By the way, it is worth mentioning that the announcement of RBD’s return came through social networks, as members changed their profile pictures to the group’s logo. Also, the group’s official website has a countdown until January 19th.
