Ator was the only member of the group not to be involved in a possible comeback announcement; the band also spoke
Mexican actor Alfonso Herrera clarified the reasons for not getting involved with a possible announcement of the band’s comeback RDB extension. This Tuesday, 3, Herrera used the Twitter to deny rumors that he would not accept the proposal to demand millions of dollars in compensation.
“Denying my past implies denying my present. Money isn’t everything and it doesn’t fully motivate my decisions,” she wrote.
He said he was grateful for “everything that has come, what is and what is to come” and revealed that he has always wanted “the best” for any project that comes from Rebelde, in the same way that he has received the support of the his group mates.
“Rebel meant and still means chasing your dreams and being consistent with what you want out of life, something I try every day. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I learn.”
I am grateful for what I have, for what I have and for what I will sell.
I always want the best from every project that comes from Rebelde.
Likewise my teammates have supported me through and through, which I really appreciate.

The rumors started after an article was published on the Mexican site TV Noteswho called the singer “ungrateful” for refusing the refund after asking for 10 million US dollars, almost 54 million reals.
The group also spoke about the relationship on social media. In a statement released Tuesday, RBD called the content posted by the site “false and defamatory information” and clarified that no members involved in the project had been in contact with the portal.
“There is respect, affection and mutual support between RBD members and Alfonso Herrera. This note only seeks to discredit and attack the group’s image, reputation and integrity,” he said.
The band asked the public not to promote “false information” and took the opportunity to remind that the details of the new RBD project will be released on the 19th.
Rumors about a possible announcement of the group’s comeback and tour started after five of the six members – anah, Sweet Mary, Maite Perroni, Christopher Uckermann and Cristiano Chávez – change profile pictures on social networks for a band logo. The last RBD concert took place in 2008.
