Rio’s Civil Police are investigating a rape complaint against singer Lily Nobre, 20, daughter of sambist Dudu Nobre and model Adriana Bombom. According to a police report, she was allegedly the victim of the scam known as “Good night, Cinderella”, in which men drug women without their knowledge, in order to abuse them.
In the report of the incident made at the 42nd DP, the young woman said that she had attended a party in the community of Beira Rio, in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the west area of Rio, during the early hours of last Sunday (1/8 ), when she would have been abused by at least fewer than one man. In the statement, leaked by the newspaper Extra, the singer said she believed that someone had put a substance in her drink that left her unconscious.
At the time, Lily had left her mother’s birthday celebrations last Saturday (7/1) and went with a friend and two other friends to a house in Beira Rio, where there were about 40 people. Nine of them have already been questioned by the police so far.
After the complaint, the young woman underwent a forensic examination, accompanied by her parents, at the Medical Legal Institute (IML), in downtown Rio.
Singer Dudu Nobre spoke out after the information was leaked.
“My daughter Olívia Nobre, 20, was invited to a party at the Recreio dos Bandeirantes, RJ, in the early hours of last Sunday. On this occasion she was the victim of abuse, which is being investigated by the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro. The investigation is confidential and I ask that you respect their privacy at this time,” he said, via a press release.
