This season, the designers definitely have a competition for the most famous celebrity who will close the show. Donatella Versace chose Paris Hilton, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana after the scandal with the “cheapest family in the world” (that’s what the designers called the Kardashian family) offered Kim cooperation, and Olivier Rousteing made a bet on Cher and did not lose.
The 76-year-old American singer and actress appeared at the beginning of the show on a huge screen in the form of a hologram, presenting a bag from the new collection, and at the end of the fashion show she personally took to the catwalk in a latex jumpsuit with a deep neckline and semi-boots on a massive platform. Together with the creative director of the brand, she closed the Balmain SS 2023 show to her own song Strong Enough and a standing ovation.
Olivier Rousteing invited many stars, French and not only, to the presentation of the new collection: footballer Neymar, singer Stromae with his wife Coralie Barbier, Kylie Jenner, Chiara Ferragni, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz came to the event. And on the podium, among others, one could recognize the models Precious Lee, Kristen McMenamy, Ashley Graham.
