Gucci today announces that Alessandro Michele is stepping down as Creative Director of Gucci. Alessandro Michele has been at the Maison’s creative helm since January 21, 2015 and has played a fundamental role in shaping the brand into what it is today through his pioneering creativity while remaining true to the Maison’s well-known codes.

Tomorrow, November 25, by the way, the designer turns 50 years old.
