Katie Price has dumped her husband Lee Andrews by text message after discovering he had just £2.22 in his bank account despite claiming to be a millionaire, according to reports. The former glamour model, 48, reportedly called it quits on Tuesday with her 43-year-old husband of eight months while holidaying in Spain.
Hours before consulting a divorce lawyer, Price was pictured wearing her engagement and wedding rings while laughing with friends in the sunshine in Marbella. Sources close to the situation said the mother-of-five has come to her senses following months of turmoil surrounding her marriage to the controversial business leader.

The final straw in the relationship reportedly came when Price arranged for a financial expert to inspect Andrews' cryptocurrency wallet. Andrews had reportedly claimed to possess $50 million, equivalent to £37 million, in digital assets and had promised to share some of the funds with her.
According to The Sun, Andrews handed over his recovery phrase, the passkey required to access his digital wallet. However, when the expert logged into the account on Monday, they discovered a total balance of just $3, or £2.22. In her final WhatsApp message to Andrews on Tuesday, Price wrote: "I have been played and you are not who you say you are. Why have you lied to me?"

An insider told The Sun that the financial revelation ended any remaining trust between the couple. "It was, of course, an accumulation of many things but the final straw came after Lee had told Katie he had $50million (£37million) in a crypto wallet, and promised her some of the funds," the source said.
The insider added: "He gave her the 'recovery phrase' - the passkey - to get into his account, and on Monday she had a financial expert access the wallet - and, to her shock, discovered it contained just $3, or £2.22." The source claimed Andrews never held such wealth, stating: "Lee never had $50million; he doesn't have a bean. The most he ever had on any one day was in March for $14,490 (£10,720) which was sent out the very same day."

Sunshine Break and Instagram Statements
Price, who was previously married to singer Peter Andre, cage fighter Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler, has travelled to the Spanish party town of Marbella to let her hair down. Marbella, located along the Costa del Sol in southern Spain's Andalusia region, is a popular destination for British reality stars and holidaymakers.
During the getaway, Price was dressed in a tiny yellow bikini and sarong, showing off her tattooed figure, including an 'owned by Lee' tattoo on her ribcage. She was seen walking hand in hand with a female pal while flashing a glimpse of her sparkling engagement and wedding rings.

Price has been partying alongside a group of close friends, including fellow reality star Chloe Ferry. Ferry, best known for appearing on MTV's Geordie Shore, celebrated her 31st birthday this week during the trip.
Around the same time she decided to call off the marriage, Price made a telling statement on Instagram. She shared a video clip of herself walking away from the camera in another skimpy look, declaring in the caption that she was "walking to my new adventures."

Husband Remains in Dubai Prison
Andrews is currently held in Dubai's Al Awir prison, a major correctional facility in the United Arab Emirates that detains individuals involved in financial disputes and fraud claims. He is reportedly struggling to find the funds required to pay the fine necessary for his release, and Price reportedly has no plans to see him.
Although reports in July claimed that the businessman had been released following his second spell in custody, recent accounts suggest he was never freed. Sources in Dubai report that fellow inmates at the prison have grown fed up with his constant assertions regarding his pending release.

The Sun alleges that Andrews has been telling fellow prisoners each week that his exit paperwork is sorted, only to remain behind bars as each new week passes. His ongoing incarceration follows a series of fraud claims that have shadowed his commercial dealings.
Since tying the knot with Andrews following a whirlwind romance, Price's relationship has been plagued by drama. Her eight-month marriage has faced repeated strain due to Andrews' prison stints, a kidnapping incident, various lies, and persistent accusations that he scammed former partners.

Cryptic Messages and Podcast Promises
While Price publicly supported her husband for months, recent social media posts indicated that the situation had taken a heavy emotional toll. On Instagram last week, she shared a picture of a model reading a newspaper containing a prominent message about moving past personal betrayal.
The text on the newspaper read: "My side of the story doesn't matter anymore. Life happened, it hurt, I healed, but most importantly, I learned who deserves a seat at my table and who will never sit at it again." Over another quote, Price tellingly wrote the words "I survived" across text stating: "I will never, ever forget who helped me in difficult times, who put me in difficult times, and who left me in difficult times."
Price previously vowed on her podcast to hold her husband accountable for hurting other people. Speaking on the show, she revealed plans to have her podcast producer interview Andrews directly about his past actions.
"In fact, I'm going to get Ben [the producer of Katie's podcast] to interview him and Ben is going to delve in deep and I want to hear everything and it's too much and I don't like people hurting people," Price said on the podcast. "That's all I'm saying on it, I've not put anything up online, so you've heard it here for the first time." Representatives for Katie Price were contacted by the Daily Mail but declined to comment on the separation.
