Police arrested a suspect who tried to steal a car from the parking lot at Kim Kardashian's mansion in Los Angeles on August 9. According to law enforcement, the incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. in the gated community of Hidden Hills, where the television star owns a 60 million dollar mansion.

Witnesses reported that an unidentified person entered the property, got inside a vehicle, and began placing items inside it. Arriving police officers caught the suspect at the scene and arrested him on suspicion of burglary and grand theft auto, People reported.
Authorities later determined that the vehicle belonged not to Kardashian, but to one of her employees. The 45-year-old reality television star had moved to another house for the duration of renovations.
Police investigation and past Paris robbery
Officials have not disclosed the identity of the detained suspect, and an investigation is underway.
The incident follows the conclusion of a trial in France involving elderly gangsters who robbed Kardashian. In October 2016, armed robbers broke into a room she rented in Paris, tied her up, and stole her jewelry.
