Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, was sent to jail on Friday after a judge rescinded her bond following repeated drunk driving arrests in Michigan. Her 30-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, is anxious for her mother following months of turbulent legal and health struggles.

The 51-year-old Scott had her bond revoked after prosecutors accused her of violating her release conditions multiple times, CBS reported. However, the judge left open the possibility for Scott to secure her release by entering an inpatient treatment facility.
The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office in Michigan alleged that Scott committed several bond violations. One violation reportedly involved her alcohol tether, an ankle bracelet that monitors the wearer's intake of drink.

A source told Page Six that Hailie, who hosts a podcast, remains deeply concerned for her mother's health. "Hailie has never stopped loving her mom no matter what," the insider said. "She’s been worried about Kim and just wants to see her healthy again."
The source added that their relationship has experienced ups and downs, but Hailie strives not to judge her. "Their relationship has definitely had its ups and downs over the years, but Hailie has always tried not to judge her," the source stated. "She knows her mom has faced a lot over the years."
The Daily Mail contacted a representative for Hailie and Eminem for comment regarding the situation.
Emergency Dispatch Details
Scott's recent incarceration follows a hospitalization last month after she reportedly attempted to take her own life. Emergency dispatch audio obtained by TMZ provided details of the events leading up to Scott being rushed to the hospital.
According to a Chesterfield Fire and EMS report obtained by TMZ, an emergency call was placed around 8:00 p.m. regarding an individual who was "unconscious" or "fainting." The report noted that Scott had suffered from a "hemorrhage/laceration" at her home in Michigan.

In the dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, a dispatcher gave an account of the situation to emergency responders. "Caller says aunt cut her wrist and she’s bleeding. She’s currently sitting on the couch listening to music," the dispatcher told responders.

The dispatcher added: "The knife is in her hand, and she will not give it to the caller. Kim Mathers. She’s unconscious now. The caller was able to remove it." Chesterfield Police Department officers and EMS workers responded to the residence, where Scott was seen leaving on a gurney before an ambulance took her to McLaren Macomb Hospital.
The source told Page Six that Scott's "latest health scare was really hard on" her daughter. "Any time something happens with her mom, it’s emotional because she never wants to get that kind of news," the insider explained.
Family Dynamics and Personal Growth
Hailie married her college sweetheart Evan McClintock in 2024, and the couple gave birth to their son Elliot last March. The source noted that becoming a parent has influenced how Hailie views her connection to her mother.
"Becoming a wife and a mom herself has given Hailie an even greater appreciation for how complicated family relationships can be," the insider told Page Six.
The source explained that Hailie aims to balance family support with her own home life. "Hailie wants to be there for her mom in whatever way she can while also protecting the life she’s built with her own family," the insider said.
DUI Arrests and Legal Troubles

Scott's legal problems intensified earlier this year. In May, Scott pleaded no contest in court to a driving under the influence charge stemming from an earlier car crash on February 16.
During that February incident, Scott allegedly smashed her white Range Rover into a parked Dodge Ram. Chesterfield Township Police Department Detective Sergeant Joseph Feld confirmed to TMZ that the crash occurred in the 21 Mile Zone near Detroit around 9:20 p.m.

Officials said the collision pushed the parked truck 50 feet from where it was parked, according to Click on Detroit. Scott's son, Parker, was also inside the vehicle with three of his friends to go shopping at the time of the crash, TMZ reported.
Scott was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to stop or identify after causing property damage.

Days after her May plea, Scott was arrested for DUI yet again. Detective Sgt. Joseph Feld told TMZ that Scott drove her vehicle into another car in Detroit.
Police took Scott into custody and booked her on a suspected DUI charge at Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the following morning. In a jail snap obtained by the Daily Mail, an unrecognizable Scott crossed her arms and posed clad in a black hoodie, with a notably swollen face after she was seen in her previous mugshot with two black eyes.
Scott subsequently missed scheduled court hearings, leading to bench warrants being issued against her in June. According to Page Six, the warrants were revoked the following day once she was arraigned, and bond was set at $10,000.
Relationship History and Extended Family
Scott's life was once a magnet for controversy, particularly during her relationship with Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III. The couple were introduced in 1987 and began dating years later before marrying in 1999.
The marriage was short-lived, and the two divorced in 2001. They later reunited and remarried in 2006, only to split again later that year. Eminem has mentioned Scott in numerous songs throughout his career.

In 1995, Scott and Eminem welcomed their daughter, Hailie Jade. Scott later had her son Parker with another partner. Between her relationships with Eminem, Scott and her then-boyfriend Eric Hartter welcomed child Stevie Laine Scott in 2002.
Eminem later adopted Stevie in 2005 after he and Scott reunited. Hartter died in 2019. Eminem also adopted Alaina Marie Scott, 32, the daughter of Scott's sister Dawn Scott. He adopted Alaina in the early 2000s; Dawn Scott, who battled drug addiction for years, died in 2016.
