Businessman Lee Andrews remains in Dubai's Al Awir prison despite reports that he was released last month following fraud claims.
The 43-year-old, who has been described as a conman businessman, is reportedly facing frustration from fellow inmates behind bars over allegations of constant deception regarding his release.
According to reports in The Sun, Andrews has been telling fellow prisoners each week that his exit paperwork is sorted. However, as each new week passes, he remains incarcerated in the Dubai facility.

Meanwhile, his wife Katie Price appears to be standing by her husband after putting her wedding ring back on in a social media upload on Monday.
The 48-year-old former glamour model posed in a bikini in an Instagram selfie, where she also displayed a tattoo reading "Owned By Lee".

Price, a prominent British media personality who rose to fame as a glamour model, had previously vowed to hold her husband accountable for hurting other people.
Speaking on her podcast, Price explained her stance on her husband's situation and her refusal to remain silent regarding allegations of harm.
"In fact, I'm going to get Ben to interview him and Ben is going to delve in deep and I want to hear everything and it's too much and I don't like people hurting people," Price said on the show, referring to her podcast producer. "That's all I'm saying on it, I've not put anything up online, so you've heard it here for the first time."
Incarceration in Dubai Desert
Andrews was initially taken by police to Lahab police station, located in the desert region of Dubai, on July 10. He was reported to be scrambling to raise a £120,000 fine to address his financial debts.
This marks his second spell inside Al Awir prison, a central detention facility in the Emirate of Dubai. Sources noted that Andrews was required to raise necessary funds to settle his outstanding debts before authorities would grant his release.
His father, Peter Andrews, was also thrown into the same jail facility alongside his son after being reported to local officials on suspicion of fraud.
The father and son reportedly saw each other behind bars while both faced fraud allegations. Peter Andrews has since allegedly been released from custody.
Katie Price had been communicating directly with Peter Andrews when her husband first went missing in May. It was Peter who first confirmed to the Daily Mail that his son had been arrested by authorities.

Pals Urge Divorce as Debts Persist
Despite showing her wedding ring online, reports indicate that Price has reached the end of her tether with her husband, with friends urging her to leave him permanently.
A source confirmed that both men had been held together in the facility, noting that Andrews continues to assert his innocence while seeking funds to leave.
"Both Lee and his dad are now behind bars, in the same prison. Lee maintains his innocence, and is hoping to pay off his outstanding debts and get out of that hell hole as quickly as possible," a source said.
The insider added that Andrews is attempting to secure financial backing so he can leave the United Arab Emirates and return home to Britain.
"He is trying to raise the collateral to get him out of the country, and return to the UK where he hopes to start his life afresh," the source added.
However, the source questioned whether his marriage would survive the ordeal, revealing that Price is exhausted by the ongoing disruption.
"Whether poor Katie will be there to greet him on the other side remains to be seen. Right now she is furious with it all, and fed up with all the drama and white noise her husband is bringing. Friends are urging her to leave him," the source said.
