Pantazis on rebuilding his bond with his daughter

In an interview last April, Pantazis spoke about the ups and downs in his relationship with Konni Metaxa. He said that during the coronavirus period the two grew closer, and that the difficulties they once had have since been resolved.

Speaking on the television show "Super Katerina," Pantazis said things had not been going well at the time with Zoza, and that the two of them separated the way all families do, though they remained on good terms. He said his daughter came to live closer to him when she was around 18, before leaving for the United States to study.

Pantazis said that when Konni returned from the United States, she focused more on what she had learned there, working across theatre, cinema and directing. He said the coronavirus period brought father and daughter closer: they grew to love each other, argued, went through periods of not speaking, and then made up again, because they were living in the same house.

He said all of that had strengthened their relationship and their family, and that everyone was doing well now. Pantazis said he had worked things out with his daughter after going through what he described as a family storm, adding that there was now calm and love between them.
