Content creator Lidia Bedman announced on Monday that two of her three young children with Vox leader Santiago Abascal have been discharged from the hospital.
The couple's three young children were admitted to the hospital in sequence following a sudden family health setback. Bedman updated her followers on Monday, August 3, 2026, confirming that her sons Santi and Hernan had been granted medical release.
Bedman shared an image holding the hand of one of her children while acknowledging the flood of supportive messages, care, and good wishes sent to their inbox. General concern had grown among followers of both Bedman and Abascal after news of the triple hospitalization broke.
The medical discharges occurred on Monday, August 3, which coincided with Saint Lidia's Day. Bedman noted that starting the week with her children leaving the hospital on her saint's day felt like a present fallen from heaven and a great gift.

The health complication caught Abascal, an Alavese politician, away from home. The Vox leader was forced to follow the medical progress of his young children remotely from Ceuta.
