Want to grow green but don’t have a pot to start your collection? We select 12 unusual containers that have turned into beautiful vases — many of these items, by the way, you already have at home. How about doing the same?
1. Eggshell. A very delicate vase that uses the shell of an empty egg. You just have to be careful when handling, as this structure is thin and can break.

2. Fruits. Like an eggshell, have you ever imagined planting a small seedling inside a fruit like a passion fruit? Of course, you can’t grow one species for a long time, but why not make one of these pots when planning a table for receiving guests?
3. Ice cream cone. This is for fans of a beautiful ice-cream. A very nice idea to bring greenery into a decoration for children’s parties.
4. Egg carton. Such a solution may be of interest to those who want to grow seedlings. It will hardly be possible to grow a large plant, but why not a young one?
5. Pet bottle. Another cheap and valuable alternative for those who want to grow plants without spending a fortune. This is quite common as many are the ones who cut up pet bottles and plant them inside. Note that the resident has fitted one cut section to another, creating a base to hold the pot upright.
6. Glass bottle. This idea is no longer for beginners, but for those who have some experience in manual work and, most importantly, have learned to work with glass. The vase was created in a lying glass bottle. It should be noted that a base with cork stoppers has been created to keep it fixed on the table.
7. Children’s toy. Anyone who has a small child in the house should have strollers, dolls and animals of the most varied varieties. Want to plant greenery and include kids in the game? Make cuts and grow a seedling inside. You just have to be careful not to opt for a toy that isn’t hollow.
8. Tree trunk. There are many possibilities for what to do with a dead tree trunk. There are those who choose to create a bench, but it is also possible to remove the wood from inside, leaving it hollow, and to grow plants in that cavity.
9. Tennis racket. A nice idea for sportsmen: why not invest in a vertical garden on the racket itself? Just fix it to the wall, create a base for planting the species and wait for it to grow.
10. Bathtub. Anyone who has a bathtub at home can take advantage of it and create a bigger and more glamorous garden. Irrigation would certainly not be a problem.
11. Shoe rack. Do you have a plastic shoe rack at home that is useless? Use your compartments to grow plant species. The nice thing is that, in them, you can put your pots or even put the earth directly into the compartments.
12. Petanque. There are many options for creating a terrarium. Here, it was done in a wine glass. The result is delicate and chic. It’s putting your hand to practice and toasting creativity!
