Located in a building designed by the architect Sérgio Bernardes, the apartment mixes part of the original identity and modern elements, reflecting the personality of the owners, a couple with two children.
The room as a whole has 55 sq m and is framed by Christ the Redeemer, Pão de Açúcar and Enseada de Botafogo, being the favorite place of the locals. From the dining room, residents can contemplate Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain.
The house’s link with these places was the inspiration for the choice of coverings and fabrics. The architect defines the room as a contemporary space that abuses art.
“Residents wanted basis of the whole house neutral and that the colors go into the artwork and the details of the furniture, so that they bring joy to the house,” comments Ana. , who led the rest of the color palette used in the room.
“Another point that we liked about this project was to bring the art to the smallest detail and the paintings of the artist Claudia Ferraz bring even more life to the space, making it even more colorful and beautiful.”
In addition to this piece of furniture, the dining table has accompanied the couple since the beginning of their marriage and has been redesigned to match the decor. On the other hand, the wooden details add elegance to the environment in the right measure, allowing for a balance with the relaxed atmosphere of the composition.
In the living room, the blend of textures it gives a unique air to the project. The wall of the house is covered burnt concretewhile a leather sofa and ottoman give the room a more rustic feel.
