46 m2 apartment with suspended cellar and concealed black kitchen

To give the project authenticity, designer Jordana Goes also used black and white herringbone flooring and elegant glass in the bathroom.

The client in his 60s wanted authenticity in the design of 46 m2: therefore, he gave carte blanche to the decorator Jordan goes dare in the decoration and leave everything well personalized. At the very entrance, the floor already attracts attention – the corridor has gained a black and white floor, with herringbone layoutwhich is flanked by another wooden floor and brick wall.

Between the bathroom wall and the kitchen, a large opening with intelligent glass can be colorless or sandblasted, depending on the occasion, and is activated by a command. The glass frame follows the black and white color palette of the room – the differential here is the red refrigeratorwhich is hidden in the carpentry.

stainless steel inserts coat the backsplash and also the inside part in the box. The crockery, the floor and the black stones are repeated in the bathroom.

“The customer’s dream was to have a cellar suspended from the ceiling. In the first option we were thinking of an air-conditioned cellar, but we needed space for the engine, which we didn’t have. We continued with the idea and created the structure with boiserie and cladding with stainless steel and glass blades”, says the designer.

The ironwood-floored room has a 360º swivel TV, which also serves the living room. On the bed, art by photographer Roberio Braga.
