Dry wash
Vacuum and brush once a week. “It is recommended to use dry cleaning foamseasily found in local stores,” says Camila.
To handle it is very simple: just spread the product on the surface and leave it to act for about thirty minutes. Right after, use a stiff bristle brush to scrub, as scrubbing helps remove stains and causes the fabric to whiten. Finally vacuum to remove solid waste.

The specialist says that, “besides what the eye can see, we also have odors caused by lack of cleanliness. In this case, it is advisable to use a cloth with hydrogen peroxide 10 volumes, and can be removed after the action with a damp cloth. Then spread the baking soda and spray white spirit vinegar on the quilt. The mixture will form a layer of foam on the surface. Leave to act for at least an hour and remove with a vacuum cleaner”.

Direct sunlight on the headboard can cause colors to fade and damage the fiber of the fabric. “Try to arrange the placement of furniture or curtains so that it doesn’t get as much direct light during the day,” Camila advises.

Humidity is also a point of attention, as it helps in the proliferation of bacteria and fungi. “For environments in these circumstances, it is recommended, wherever possible, to maintain good air circulationwhich can be supported by dehumidifiers for that,” he says.
Waterproofing
