Therefore, according to experts, prevention and controls are essential to avoid health problems.

Pediatrician dr. Fabiana Bernieri underlines the importance of periodic monitoring of children in routine pediatric appointments. “The goal is to identify potential risks of developing disease at an early stage, but once this child shows the first symptoms of mild disease, there’s nothing stopping them from seeking a consult at the pediatrician’s office and not rushing to the first aid,” he says.
According to the pediatrician, the cases that can be seen in the office are of initial symptoms, such as Cold, gastrointestinal viruses, headache and stomach pain. “Outpatient care is much more beneficial as it doesn’t expose the child to other infections,” she points out.
