“In terms of nutrients, including proteins, a vegan burger prepared with the right ingredients will give a snack as nutritious as a traditional meat-based one. How to make a vegan quinoa and oatmeal burger
ingredients
- 2 cups (tea) of quinoa grains;
- ¼ cup (tea) finely flaked oatmeal;
- 1 spoon (coffee) of smoked paprika;
- 1 tablespoon (coffee) of hot paprika;
- 1 pinch of oregano;
- 1 pinch of salt;
- 1 small grated onion;
- 1 unit of hamburger bread;
- 1 slice of vegan cheese;
- Lettuce leaves, tomato and onion to taste.
Method of preparation
Mix all ingredients except oats. Add the oats little by little, until the dough gets dirty on your hand. Shape the mixture into the shape of a hamburger (a small round mold can help in the process). Put the burgers in the oven at 180ºC for about 20 minutes. Halfway through cooking, flip the burgers to brown the other side.
Assembly
Toast the inside of the buns for about 30 seconds in a very hot pan. Take a slice of bread and put it on a plate. Then place 1 unit of hamburger, the vegan cheese, lettuce leaves, tomato and onion slices and the other slice of bread to complete the snack. Help yourself!
