Cabbage soup full recipe

Preparation time: 1h20

Performance: 6 portions

Difficulty level: easy

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups bacon (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 4 large diced potatoes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1.2 liters of boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered vegetable seasoning
  • 1 bunch of chopped cabbage
  • cream cheese to decorate

Method of preparation:

  1. In the pressure cooker, fry the bacon with the butter until golden brown. Remove the bacon and set it aside.
  2. In the same pan, saute the onion, garlic and potato.
  3. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  4. Pour in the water, the seasoning powder, cover and cook for 30 minutes, after starting the pressure.
  5. Turn off the heat, wait for all the pressure to release naturally, and open the pan.
  6. Add the cabbage and mix well.
  7. Remove half of the broth from the pan, put it in a bowl and let it cool.
  8. Transfer to blender and blend until creamy.
  9. Return to the pan and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  10. Distribute in soup bowls, sprinkle with the fried bacon and cream cheese. Serve immediately.
