Throw the tablet in a saucepan, frying pan or on a baking sheet, fill it with hot water, leave for a few minutes. Drain the water and wash the dishes with a sponge: you’ll be amazed at how quickly the dirt disappears!

You can spend 20 minutes “updating” the bin with soap and a brush, or let a dishwasher tablet do the work for you. Throw it in a bucket, fill it with hot water, leave it for half an hour, then pour out the water and rinse the container before drying it with paper towels.

Are there greasy stains on the tiles or linoleum? When washing floors, add a dishwashing tablet to lukewarm water – this will remove them easily.

Dissolve the tablet in hot water, put the tarnished cutlery in it. After an hour or an hour and a half, wipe the dishes with a sponge, then rinse and dry – after that it will shine like new!
