There is a time to spend money, and there are times when it is better to save it.
No matter how much money you have in your account, you should never throw it away without thinking. Here are a few things that financial coaches say can be both inexpensive and high quality.
Bed sheets
Gone are the days when luxury bedding cost a fortune: according to smart shopping expert Trey Bodge, you can now buy it at a reasonable price in markets, based on reviews and during sales.
Moisturizing cream
According to Trey, $300 creams can really be amazing, but a product that does the job can be purchased on the mass market, and these budget-friendly cosmetics are often used by stars and aristocrats.
Jewelry
Even women who love Cartier and Tiffany keep modest accessories in their jewelry boxes, Bodge says. “It’s important to have a few classic pieces that you’ll pay more for. But you can easily supplement them with economical products,” specifies the financial coach.

Stylist and personal shopper Lauren Rae Levy agrees: She confirms that her wealthiest clients buy inexpensive jewelry. “They combine them with jewelry, and sometimes the costume jewelry is even more beautiful than the real jewelry,” Levy says.
Sun glasses
“Sunglasses are one of the most commonly broken and lost accessories,” says Levy. “My high-net-worth clients tend to buy one to three expensive designer frames, then top off their collection with budget frames that look almost the same but cost much less.”
Designer clothing
Personal finance expert Jill Gonzalez says she and her colleagues don’t look at brands when it comes to everyday clothing. “We must invest in health, education and well-being. You should buy things based on their quality – then they will look better and last longer,” says Jill.
Travel
As Bodge explains, when planning a vacation, financial experts always pay attention to the time spent on the road. “It’s unlikely that you’ll meet a financial coach who would be willing to spend many hours on a plane to save a little money. We will always look for ways to spend less, but not at this price,” she says.
