The patterned tile inside the shower was the starting point for this fresh ambience (discontinued. Similar: Bossa Mix Azul, 20 x 20 cm, by Portobello. “The residents wanted a bathroom with personality,” says the interior designer Adriana Fontana Absolute brown granite bench and niche for shampoo complete the project.

The covering chosen for the box was a woody porcelain stoneware (Legno Di Versalles, 1.03 x 0.25 m, by Lanzi. C&C, R$ 50.90 per m²), creating a relaxing spa atmosphere. Isabel Amorim Project.

In the bathroom, the printed ceramics stand out (Terrades Basalto, 1900 series, 20 x 20 cm, by Colormix). “I only used it on the shower wall because it's not cheap,” observes architect Carolina Mendonça.

The white tiles on the wall (Metro White, by Eliane. C&C) highlight the patterned hydraulic tile floor (Calver Gris, by Colormix. Leroy Merlin).

In this bathroom designed by interior designer Tássia Pereira, the essential rectified white ceramic matches the tiles from the Cúbica line by Portobello.

The big attraction is the pebble coating inside the box: the product arrives shielded and acquires a uniform appearance thanks to the mortar (Seixo Fiji Telado Verde, Palimanan). To match the cobblestones, without competing with them, the other walls received smooth ceramic tiles in a low shade of green.

The antique look of this project was achieved by combining the porcelain stoneware with the look of the hydraulic tiles on the floor (similar: Oxford Deco, by Biancogres, 60 x 60 cm) with the subway tiles – the famous city tiles European metro stations – (Metro White model, by Eliane, 20 x 10 cm), which covers all the walls up to a height of 1.80 m. The transparent plastic curtain protects the dry area from splashes and ensures visibility of the composition.

These small pieces are the dream of many people who are thinking of changing the look of their bathroom. Here, São Paulo architect Gina de Paulo, of Idea Estúdio, used glass tiles, applying them in three different shades. Pink covers the wall behind the sink and shower cubicle, green reaches up to 1 m from the side wall, white covers the floor (all by Colortil, Cristal line, measuring 30 x 30 cm). Urban style guided the proposal by architect Luciane Galera, of Vivant Arquitetura, for this space in São Paulo. The protagonist is the geometric flooring (Favo 10 Black and White. 30 x 35 cm Mosarte plate, with 12 hexagonal tiles). The neutral base was guaranteed by the gray porcelain stoneware tiles that cover the walls (Concreta Bianco Natural, 80 x 80 cm. Mosarte).

In this mix of colored tiles, notice that some reflect images. In fact, they are mirrors cut to the same dimensions as ceramic pieces. Architects André and Mariana Weigand, of AM Studio, in São Paulo, decided to camouflage them in the colorful composition. To highlight the coverings (Venones), we opted for a rustic concrete bench (1.05 x 0.40 x 0.06 m).

A more affectionate decorative style is revealed in this bathroom of a country house in Ibiúna, SP. Designed by architect Beatriz Castanho, the project features rustic elements, such as the sideboard and shelf with worn paint, the burnt concrete floor and the tile fragments (Arhus Alto Brilho Branco, 32 x 57 cm, by Cecafi. C&C, R$ 11.90 per m2).
