Pitti Bimbo in Italy is characterized by elements of nature

Traditional Florentine event that showcases children’s fashion trends

– Nature is the main inspiration of the Autumn/Winter 2024/25 children’s fashion collections which will be presented at the Pitti Bimbo fashion event, in Florence, between this Wednesday (17th) and next Friday (19th).

The proposals emphasize more than ever the wild nature of flora and fauna, always with an eye on sustainable and quality materials to stay in contact with the skin of the little ones.

The products feature animal prints and stunning landscapes, as well as sumptuous materials made from upcycling or surplus materials.

In Florence, velvet garments, cashmere sweaters and soft wools are on show. Graphic organic cotton tees, traditional Nordic coats and draped knits for a touch of romance are also highlights.

The urban brand Ao76, for example, is inspired by the splendid landscapes of Patagonia, its pieces have prints dictated by the vegetal stratification and the vastness of the mountain formations.

L’orsobruno offers prints with its iconic bear and other colorful animals.

At Etro Kids, creative director Marco De Vincenzo develops the theme of nature by looking at the colors of the Earth: the children’s line is inspired by fabrics and shapes from the adult world in a mini version.

Bright colors, however, appear at Pucci, which proposes the iconic geometric prints in the children’s line, with a selection of dresses, sweatshirts, bags and clips.

There is also Stella McCartney Kid’s wardrobe, which has always been sustainable, designed for “ecological warriors”: organic cotton t-shirts, coats made from recycled materials, vegan shoes and accessories.

With the same philosophy, the Rifò brand enters the children’s world, which has been investing in regenerated fibers for years. Thus was born a collection of blouses in ecological materials for children aged 4 to 10 years: all the threads are natural and with low environmental impact, soft and delicate on the skin, all produced locally by artisans from Prato.

Also presented was the Aigner brand, founded by the Hungarian Etienne Aigner, which offers production based on cruelty-free processes, non-toxic dyes and sustainable materials. .
