Cassava puree recipe

Ingredients:

  • 400 g of cassava
  • 1/3 cup cream (tea).
  • Salt, black pepper and grated nutmeg to taste

Preparation method:

  1. Cook the peeled cassava in boiling salted water for 15 minutes or until soft but whole.
  2. Pass through juicer and transfer to pan.
  3. Add the butter, cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  4. Cook over low heat, whisking with a wooden spoon or a hand whisk for 3 minutes or until the mixture is airy and free of lumps.
  5. If desired, garnish with chili pepper.
