Arlindo Grund highlights highlights from the SPFW runways

Fashion consultant Arlindo Grund highlighted some highlights he saw on the catwalks of the 57th edition of SPFW, which ended this Sunday (14), with fashion shows outside the Iguatemi and JK shopping centers, where the majority of part of the presentations. Gloria Coelho, at Galeria Nara Roesler, celebrating 50 years of the brand; João Pimenta, in Palazzo Martinelli, on the occasion of the celebration of the centenary of the building; and Amapô, at Love Cabaret, which celebrates 20 years of the brand.




The expert highlighted four trends that should continue in the coming seasons. They are: sculptural pieces; maximized utilitarian clothing; geometric but organic bags; and playful touches in the collections.

“What I observed were sculptural dresses, with organic shapes, that had different patterns,” he said, recalling however that these different silhouettes draw on the wellspring of classicism and tailoring.

“I noticed a lot of tailoring for men’s fashion too, but utilitarian tailoring, with big pockets. We had already seen these trends in other seasons, but this time the pockets got even bigger,” he said.

“Most of the collections had a playful touch, to give a little more freshness to the moment we are living in, so that fashion was a little more fun and less harsh,” he concluded.

“What also caught my attention were the more geometric, more organic, more structured bags,” she pointed out. In fact, bags appear for both men and women.
