Practical mortadella cake:

Ingredients:
- 1kg of wheat flour
- 5 eggs
- 500 g of vegetable fat
- Salt to taste
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
Filling
- 1/2 cup (tea) olive oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 chopped tomatoes
- 3 cups chopped mortadella
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 can of drained peas
- 1/2 cup chopped green olives
- 1 glass of cream cheese (200 g)
Preparation method:
- In a pan, over medium heat, heat the oil and fry the onion until golden brown.
- Add the tomato, mortadella, parsley, salt, pepper and brown, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat, add the peas, olives and cream cheese. Reserve.
- Place the dough ingredients in a bowl and mix until you obtain a smooth mixture.
- Roll out with a rolling pin and, with half the dough, line a 30 cm diameter springform pan.
- Add the filling and cover with the rest of the dough.
- Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Leave to cool, unmold and serve.
