Cold passion fruit cake

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar (tea)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup milk (tea)
  • 2 1/2 cups (tea) wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • Margarine and wheat flour for greasing

  • 1/2 cup (tea) passion fruit juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup milk (tea).
  • 1/2 can of condensed milk

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and butter.
  2. Add the milk, flour and beat again.
  3. Add the yeast and mix gently.
  4. Pour the mixture into a medium rectangular baking pan, greased and floured.
  5. Bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Mix the syrup ingredients with a fork until you obtain a smooth mixture.
  7. Using a fork, poke holes all over the surface of the cake and drizzle with the still hot syrup.
  8. Place in the fridge for 3 hours.
  9. Remove from the oven, cut into squares and wrap them in aluminum foil.
  10. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve the iced passion fruit cake.
