Natural sandwich made with super easy low carb homemade bread, stuffed with tuna and avocado



A combination of canned tuna, very simple, but decidedly tasty.

Recipe for 2 people.

Ingredients for the sandwich (bread)

– 4 slice(s) of wholemeal bread

– olive oil to taste for greasing

Ingredients for the tuna and avocado filling

– 1 can(s) solid canned tuna

– 1/2 seedless tomato, cut into cubes

– 1/2 unit of seedless pepper, chopped

– 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

– 1 tablespoon chopped green onion

– 2 tablespoons of olive oil

– 1/2 avocado, lightly mashed

– 1 teaspoon(s) of lemon (juice)

– 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)

– spicy paprika to taste (optional)

– Salt to taste

– pepper to taste

Finishing ingredients

– lettuce to taste – leaves cut into wide strips

– olive oil to taste

– Salt to taste

– pepper to taste

PREPARATION:

1. Separate all the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.

2. Clean, chop and cut the ingredients. Don’t open the avocado yet.

3. Wash the lettuce well, cut it into wide strips. Soak in a bowl with water and sodium hypochlorite.

4. Preheat the oven to 200ÂșC.

PREPARATION:

APPETITE OR DESSERT (optional):

If you have chosen to prepare an appetizer or dessert, prepare it now because this recipe does not require breaks.

Tuna and avocado filling:

1. Open the can of tuna and discard all the liquid.

2. Place the tuna in a bowl and mash it.

3. Add the tomato, chilli, parsley and chives and mix well.

4. Season with half the oil, salt and pepper.

5. Set aside.

Sandwich (Bread):

1. Arrange the bread slices on a baking tray.

2. Season with a drizzle of olive oil.

3. Place in the preheated oven for a few minutes, until lightly toasted.

4. If you think it’s safer, turn off the oven and let the bread brown in the residual heat.

Tuna and avocado filling:

1. Peel the avocado. Remove the pulp and place it in a bowl.

2. Using a fork, mash lightly – it should still be a little chunky.

3. Drizzle with lemon juice and mix carefully.

4. Add mayonnaise (optional).

5. Add the rest of the olive oil.

6. Season with salt and pepper. Add hot paprika (optional).

7. Mix well and set aside.

To finish: lettuce salad:

1. Wash the lettuce leaves well.

2. Drain, dry or spin dry.

3. When ready to serve, return to a bowl or salad bowl and season with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Tuna and avocado sandwich:

1. Remove the bread from the oven. Turn it off if you haven’t already done so.

2. Mix the tuna with the avocado.

3. Place a slice of bread on each plate.

4. Distribute the filling.

5. Place the dressed lettuce on top.

6. Cover with the other slices of bread.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

1. This sandwich must be served individually assembled.

2. Place the assembled sandwich on plates, cut it in half, forming triangles.
