Infidelity: 8 out of 10 Brazilians have betrayed their comrades

Research conducted by the Gleeden app also managed to map which Brazilian states have the most cases of infidelity

While it’s not such a pleasant topic to talk about, it is possible that at some point in your life you will face infidelity. And there is data to prove it, see? According to the Gleeden dating app, 8 out of 10 Brazilians have cheated on their partners in relationships considered to be monogamous. I mean, even if no one wants to go through it, maybe you’ve already been through it and you don’t even know it …

The data were obtained through the “Radiography of Infedelity and Infedels in Brazil 2022” survey and bring very curious data on this topic. The app was able to map, for example, what are the Brazilian states with the largest number of infidels: St. Paul wins with the most cases of betrayal. Then we have Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo at the top of the list.

Another fact that also puts the Brazilians in difficulty concerns the position in the ranking of infidelities. Apparently, Brazil is the country with the most betrayals in Latin Americafollowed by Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Chile. In the end, this is not something you can say that makes our country very proud, do you agree?

Who practices the most infidelity?

Gleeden’s infidelity survey also managed to understand the behavior of cheaters and which of the two genders is more practical. And well … As expected, men cheat more: 91% of survey respondents responded that they had been unfaithful in a relationship. On the other hand, women are also not far behind, you see? 88% of Brazilian women interviewed said they had cheated on them too.

Even with a very close result, women are the most judged in the event of cheating – 9 out of 10 survey respondents agree with the statement. Now, when it comes to male behavior, 99% of respondents agree they have more freedom and confidence to cheat.

Another shocking fact reveals that Brazilians are prone to non-monogamous experiences. For 62% of survey respondents, cheating is considered natural to some extent and among the main reasons are curiosity, problems in the intimate life of a couple and the desire for other people.
