The dolls freeze the moment: they have no wrinkles, their hair does not turn gray and the sparkle in their eyes does not fade. Some are immortalized in stone, others in plastic. Look at what Barbies look like, copying Hollywood stars.

Model Cindy Crawford became the model for a group of custom Barbie dolls.

The model had already served as a prototype for a doll, when Mattel released a mini-copy of a model wearing a pink Roberto Cavalli dress.

However, some fans have noted that the mini version isn’t very similar to the original. You can tell it’s Cindy by just one mole.

In July 2016, at a gala dinner at Louis Vuitton, the first Barbie was presented, the prototype of which was Natalia Vodianova.

The Mattel company, which produces legendary dolls, presented guests with a doll with the image of a model. It is known that Barbie-Vodianova will be released in a limited edition and will go on sale in 2017. Part of the profits from the sale of the doll will be donated to the Naked Heart Foundation to create a system of free services for families raising children with a intellectual disability, as well as to build inclusive playgrounds.

Ashley Graham

Ashley had only one requirement for her doll: the hips had to be made exactly to her shape.

Katy Perry

Barbie, inspired by the blue-haired beauty, was auctioned off for charity in 2011. The doll’s starting price was $3,250.

Jennifer Lopez

“I think Barbie is a symbol of eternal possibility. The dream is still alive,” J.Lo said of her relationship with dolls. “We never stray too far from who we were as children, or at least we shouldn’t.”

Each of the two new Barbie dolls, dedicated to Jennifer, is already on sale and costs around 30 dollars.

Heidi Klum

The doll wearing incredible sandals, shoulder-length earrings and an ultra-short sequined dress appeared in 2009.

Nicki Minaj

Like the plastic Katy Perry doll, the doll was sold at a charity auction, but the starting price was higher at $4,855.

Jennifer Lawrence

The star, just like her character Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, never goes anywhere without a bow and arrow.
