Masonry furniture highlights design pieces in a 150 m2 apartment


Inspired by the houses of Natal (RN), Rodra Cunha has combined two properties and created an apartment that feels like home

Located in the Jardins neighborhood (SP), this apartment 150 m2 it has a signature Rodra Cunha and is made up of two unified buildings of 75 m2.




“The owner wanted a apartment with a homely atmosphere. With Mediterranean style and different from all apartments”, says the professional.

To achieve this goal, the architect chose to use several of them furniture made of masonrywhich created a neutral basis for designer pieces that the resident already owned.

My inspiration was the summer houses in Natal (RN), where most homes have this type of furniture,” he explains.

To build all this, however, Rodra needed to create a study of weight distribution to avoid overloading the plates. To complete the decor, the techno-cement floor created unity and gave the interior a homely atmosphere.
