Experts evaluate two coffee grinders considered for more professional use

One of the favorite brands among bartenders is Baratza Encore. The conical blade generates greater consistency in grinding the beans, according to the evaluation of the experts invited to the test who chose the best portable coffee grinder. The equipment offers different grinding modes: for espresso, French press, filtered coffee…). The result of grinding the beans was an “incredible, round and very tasty” coffee, in the words of the jury.

Another piece of equipment evaluated was from Cuisinart. According to experts, the flat blade caused a certain inconsistency in grinding the beans. The equipment also turned out to be slower than the Baratza model. The judges liked the feature that allows the grind to finish on its own, as soon as the beans are ground. Some jurors felt that the complex of equipment needed to be handled. The coffee brewing result was considered slightly unbalanced.
