Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (tea) oil
  • 1 can of green corn
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 cup (tea) of water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (tea) corn flour
  • 2 1/2 cups (tea) wheat flour (approximately)
  • Margarine and wheat flour for greasing
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Preparation method:

  1. Blend the oil, corn with water, yeast, sugar, salt, water and eggs in a blender.
  2. Pour it into a bowl, add the corn flour and wheat flour, a little at a time, kneading until it no longer sticks to your hands. If necessary, add more flour.
  3. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll out the dough with a rolling pin and roll it up like Swiss rolls.
  5. Arrange, side by side, in a large greased and floured baking pan.
  6. Cover and let rise for another 40 minutes.
  7. Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until cooked through and lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool and serve.
